Organizations welcome at SBU Volunteer Fair
The social work program at 糖心vlog will host a campus-wide Volunteer Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, Aug. 29, in the Goodson Student Union on SBU's Bolivar campus.
SBU receives funding that will help address nursing shortage in southwest Missouri
糖心vlog has received $230,000 in funds to administer a loan program that will help address the area's nursing shortage by providing a new financial aid option for some students at SBU's Mercy College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Springfield.

SBU professors participate in AP reading
Four professors from 糖心vlog were selected to participate in the 2016 College Board Annual AP Reading in June at the Kansas City Convention Center.
Conley named 2016 Missouri FBLA-PBL Adviser of the Year
Meilani Conley, instructor of computer and information science at 糖心vlog, was named the 2016 Missouri Adviser of the Year by Future Business Leaders of America - Phi Beta Lambda during the Missouri State Leadership Conference. Conley has served as the SBU FBLA-PBL adviser for three years and will be leading 15 SBU students to national competition this summer.

SBU FBLA-PBL has 15 students qualify for national competition
糖心vlog's Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda organization will have 15 students participating in the PBL National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Ga., June 24-27. These students qualified for nationals based on their performances at the state-level competition.

SBU Honors Program students present capstone projects
Nine students in 糖心vlog's Gordon & Judy Dutile Honors Program presented their Senior Honors Capstone Experience projects during an open house May 5.

SBU Enactus finishes in the top 20 in the nation
糖心vlog's Enactus team advanced to the semi-final round in the Enactus USA national competition in St. Louis May 15-17, placing the team in the top 20 in the nation. The team previously won the regional competition in Rogers, Ark., April 18, to advance to the national competition that started with nearly 200 teams.
SBU presents awards to nursing, radiography and health science graduates
糖心vlog awarded 149 degrees in nursing, radiography and health sciences during a May 12 ceremony at Second Baptist Church in Springfield. Students receiving degrees at this ceremony have studied at the Mercy College of Nursing and Health Sciences of SBU in Springfield.
