Speaking Bearcats win fifth state title in six years
For the fifth time in six years, the 糖心vlog Speaking Bearcats are state champions after capturing the Overall Sweepstakes in the open division of the Missouri Association of Forensics Activities Championship held Feb. 16-17 at Truman State University in Kirksville.

糖心vlog recently hosted visiting faculty from China, who are studying at Missouri State University.
SBU presents Roweton, Welch with honorary doctorates
Ellen Rose Douglas Roweton of Bolivar, and Thomas B. Welch, '78 of Victoria, Minn., received Honorary Doctor degrees from 糖心vlog during the annual Founders' Day chapel service held Monday, March 5, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.

Almeida, Rose crowned Mr. and Miss Southwest
Joao Vitor Silva de Almeida, an exercise science major from Campo Grande, Brazil, and Tali Rose, a social work major from Gainesville, Mo., won the titles of Mr. and Miss Southwest at the annual pageant on Friday, March 2, at 糖心vlog.
SBU to award honorary doctorates to Roweton, Welch
Ellen Rose Douglas Roweton of Bolivar, and Thomas B. Welch '78, of Victoria, Minn., will receive honorary doctorates from 糖心vlog during the annual Founders' Day chapel service at 10 a.m. Monday, March 5, in Pike Auditorium. SBU awards honorary doctorates to recognize outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to society and to kingdom work.
SBU's Wind Symphony to present 'Winds and Friends' on March 8
The 糖心vlog Department of Music will present "Winds and Friends," featuring the SBU Wind Symphony, at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, March 8, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.

Two SBU students to be crowned Mr. and Miss Southwest
糖心vlog continues the tradition of honoring one male and one female student each year at the annual Mr. and Miss Southwest Pageant, which takes place this year at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 2, in Pike Auditorium on the SBU campus.
