SBU CIS advisory board, career fair open doors for students
糖心vlog's 2017 Computer and Information Sciences (CIS) Department Advisory Board met early in the spring semester in the newly renovated Taylor Free Enterprise Center on the Bolivar campus, in conjunction with the Robert W. Plaster College of Business and Computer Science Spring Career Fair.

SBU Theatre, Art collaborate on student-devised piece April 20-22
The 糖心vlog's departments of theatre and art will present a student-devised piece "Inter(actions): Stories of Love and Loss" at 7 p.m., April 20-22, in the Davis-Newport Theatre on the Bolivar campus.

SBU PBL qualifies nine students for national competition
糖心vlog's Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) organization had nine students qualify for the PBL Nationals on June 24-27 in Anaheim, Calif., following an impressive showing at the PBL State Leadership Competition on April 1 in Springfield.

Free concert to be presented by SBU's Chamber Orchestra
The 糖心vlog Chamber Orchestra will be in concert at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, in the Meyer Recital Hall in the Casebolt Music Center on the Bolivar campus.

SBU CIS team wins Mid-South Region Programming Contest
糖心vlog's top competitive programming team took an early lead and didn't look back in capturing the Consortium for Computing Sciences Mid-South Region Programming Contest on March 31 at Lyon College in Batesville, Ark.

SBU Speaking Bearcats finish in top 3 at national tournament
糖心vlog's Speaking Bearcats finished in the top 3 at the Pi Kappa Delta National Tournament and Convention, brought home a national championship in literary criticism and had two members named All-American at the event held March 22-25, 2017, at Boise State University, in Boise, Idaho.
